Protection from Sexual, Disability and Racial Harassment in Common Workplaces

One significant change introduced by the Discrimination Legislation (Miscellaneous Amendments) Ordinance 2020 to the anti-discrimination ordinances is that protections against sexual, disability and racial harassment have been expanded to cover people working in a common workplace, including not only employers and employees, but also interns, volunteers and other "workplace participants" as specified under the SDO. The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) has published a leaflet about "Protection from Sexual, Disability and Racial Harassment in Common Workplaces".
