Equal Opportunity Festival 2022 - HKUMed's Initiatives to Promote Gender and Social Inclusivity

The Medical Ethics and Humanities Unit (MEHU) of the LKS Faculty of Medicine provides a diverse curriculum crucial to cultivating empathy in order to equip medical students to become caring healthcare providers serving patients from all walks of life in the future. Among MEHU’s innovative initiatives in this direction, they have been making efforts to raise students’ awareness about gender and social inclusivity through a wide range of learning activities. In this sharing session, Dr Julie Chen, Assistant Dean (Learner Wellbeing) and Director of MEHU, and her team members will share with us their experience in developing and implementing the relevant initiatives and measures.
