HKU Equal Opportunities Festival 2013

Equal Opportunity Unit of HKU proudly presents Equal Opportunities Festival of 2013!

This year's theme is "To build an inclusive society with respect to sexual equality." Assisted by the inaugural batch of Equal Opportunity Student Ambassadors (EOSAs), series of events will be held from November 5 to November 22.

***1. Nov 5: Opening ceremony & Inauguration ceremony for EO Student Ambassadors (Happy Park/ 12:30 pm- 2:00 pm)

2. Nov 11: "Talking Sexuality On Campus" by Dr. D Tang, Dept of Sociology (MengWah T6, 1-2 pm)

3. Nov 11-15: Book exhibition (Library)

4. Nov 12- Forum on "What It Takes To Be Different" (MengWah T6, 3-4 pm)

5. Nov 15: Film show on “Different Path, Same way” and discussion session with the director of the film (Yung Chi-man) and the couple (Henry and Guy)- (Kwan Fong Lecture Theatre, Room 223, Knowles Building, 6-8 pm)

6. Nov 15: Training on Web Accessibility (MengWah T6, 1-2 pm)

7. Nov 18-22: Exhibition (KK Leung G/F)

8. Nov 21: Talk on “Sexual Harassment” by Ms Cynthia Lam, Senior Training Officer of Equal Opportunities Commission (MengWah T6: 1-2pm)
