As the second event of the Equal Opportunity Festival, a talk on “Disability Discrimination” given by Ms. Cynthia Lam, Senior Training Officer of the Equal Opportunities Commission, will be held on 6th November at Lecture Room 07, G/F, Main Building from 1:00-2:00pm.

With the objective to raise the awareness of disability discrimination among university staff and students, the talk will provide a general introduction of the Disability Discrimination Ordinance, including its background, definitions and applications. It will also provide typical discrimination examples and cases to illustrate the application of the Ordinance.
