Equal Opportunities Festival 2014 - Opening Ceremony

  • Opening Ceremony officiated by Ms. Yu Chui Yee, Paralympic Games Gold Medalist and Professor SP Chow, Acting Provost & Deputy Vice-Chancellor
  • "Fashion Show" of Care Apparels for people with disabilities and chronic diseases
  • Booths by Equal Opportunities Commission; CEDARS; Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation; Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power; Tung Wah Group of Hospitals

The Equal Opportunities Festival for 2014 will be held from November 5 to November 21 with the theme “To build a barrier-free society for all”.

The Opening Ceremony and the Inauguration Ceremony for Equal Opportunity Student Ambassadors will be held on Wednesday, 5 November 2014 at 12:45 pm at Sun Yat-sen Place. Ms Yu Chui Yee, Paralympic Gold Medalist, will be the guest of honor and Professor SP Chow, Acting Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor will officiate at the ceremony. The Equal Opportunity Student Ambassadors (EOSAs) will pledge in the witness of the guests and participants at the Ceremony. In addition, a fashion show in which the Equal Opportunity Student Ambassadors will demonstrate the functions of specially designed clothes for persons with a disability, will be the highlight of the Ceremony.

No registration is required. All are welcome.
