
The Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) is launching the Equal Opportunity Youth Ambassador Scheme 2025/26 to promote the values of equal opportunities among the younger generation, and foster equality and inclusion in society. The Scheme is an engagement programme rallying young staunch supporters for equal opportunities.
What to expect from the Scheme?
Under the Scheme, selected students will be appointed as Youth Ambassadors and arranged to take part in a wide variety of experiential learning activities related to equal opportunities. The Scheme will provide a unique and rewarding experience for students to acquire skills and knowledge beyond classroom, expand their social network, and strengthen their connection and sense of belonging to the community including the EOC. Youth Ambassadors who attain a satisfactory attendance rate and complete the tasks assigned under the Scheme will receive the following rewards:
- A certificate issued by the EOC
- A reference letter signed by EOC Chairperson
- Online credential on Youth Ambassadors' LinkedIn
- "Most Active Participation Award" (To be awarded to the outstanding Youth Ambassadors only)
Who is eligible for the Scheme?
All full-time students irrespective of their gender, race, family status and diverse abilities, are welcome to join the Scheme. EOC would also provide reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities in accordance with their needs.
