A Slice of Neurodiversity: Common Misconceptions on Autism and ADHD

[Equal Opportunity Student Ambassador-initiated Event]

In recognition of Neurodiversity Celebration Week (16–20 March 2026), join us for “A Slice of Neurodiversity: Common Misconceptions on Autism and ADHD”, a student-led sharing session that challenges common misconceptions and brings together different perspectives from the ADHD and ASD communities.

Initiated by a group of Equal Opportunity Student Ambassadors (EOSAs), the panel will feature guest speakers from Talos Foundation and NeuroDiversity Association Hong Kong (NDAHK):

  • Talos Foundation is a charitable organisation dedicated to raising awareness on neurodiversity and disabilities to help shift mindsets across Hong Kong and Asia. The foundation also provides education and training for both the general public and employers to enhance awareness and inclusivity.
  • NDAHK is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting neurodiversity awareness among the general public through collaborative partnerships and initiatives across different sectors.

The panel will include sharing from professional, practical tips for supporting neurodivergent peers, and a Q&A session where you can explore more about equal opportunities. This is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and explore ways to make our campus more inclusive for everyone. All staff and students are welcome.
