Conquering the Starting Line of Life - Screening and Discussion of “Zero to Hero”

Based on the true story of Paralympic champion sprinter So Wa Wai and his mother “So Mom”, the film Zero to Hero shows how they confronted the challenges in their life. So Wa Wai suffers from cerebral palsy and hearing impairment shortly after birth and his doctor asserted that he would not be able to stand up and walk his entire life. However, with the unwavering support from his mother and family, he overcame huge obstacles and become a three-time Paralympic gold medalist, earning him the nickname “Wonder Boy”. Sandra Ng, Producer and Lead Actress of the film, will join the post-screening discussion with Writer-Director Jimmy Wan, to share their reflections on this story about “losing at the starting line”.
