[Moving Forward: Complicating Feminism in Professional Fields] Highlight Recap
The forum on "Moving Forward: Complicating Feminism in Professional Fields" was successfully held last Friday (April 11, 2024). Our EOSAs kickstarted the forum with an interactive session to introduce the ideas of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) with supplementary examples of some gender-based stereotypes.
After a smooth introduction, our speakers then shared some real-life experiences they encountered in their corresponding professional fields. Despite the complexity of the main theme, our helpers facilitated a thorough discussion between guest speakers and participants on the status quo from multiple perspectives.
