People with visual impairment may face some daily challenges. Since 2011, Hong Kong Guide Dogs Association (HKGDA) has been aiming to assist the visual impaired people by providing internationally accredited service dogs, including guide dogs and Animal-Assisted Intervention (AAI) dogs.
Hong Kong Guide Dogs Association will come and share with us at the University about guide dog-related knowledge, like the training stages of a guide dog and the services of a guide dog. Moreover, the guide dog user is invited to share their life, and tips to get along with people with visual impairment. All colleagues and students are welcome to join the sharing session.
