Equal Opportunity Festival 2021 - Enhanced Protection from Discrimination and Harassment

The Discrimination Legislation (Miscellaneous Amendments) Ordinance 2020 has introduced enhanced protection from sexual, disability and racial harassment for workplace participants in common workplaces, even when there is no employment relationship. Besides, protection from discrimination and harassment on the ground of breastfeeding came into effect on June 19, 2021. Mr Clifford Lo, Senior Training Officer of Equal Opportunities Commission, will explain the enhanced protection under the law in relation to employment, common workplaces and education, with examples to illustrate the application in these areas.
