Equal Opportunity Festival 2024 - "Equal Tour 180" Wheelchair Experience in Community

If you want to understand the circumstances of persons with disabilities, nothing is better than putting yourself into their "shoes" - living with wheelchair. In "Equal Tour 180" 「平等號180」輪椅社區體驗, participants will be led and guided by trainers from Hong Kong PHAB Association to use wheelchairs in completing various daily tasks in the community. Through "walking" into the community, participants will experience the importance of provision of barrier-free access facilities to wheelchair users, increase their understanding towards "carer" and "care receiver", and cultivate the right attitude on physically handicapped and able bodied (PHAB) integration.
