Guideline on fostering practices for disability inclusion at higher education institutions

This Guideline is developed by Dr. Patcy Yeung of the Faculty of Education and her project team on enhancing learning experience for students with visual impairment in higher education. Funded by the HKU Teaching Development Grant, this Project aims to advance the equality and diversity in the learning environment and experience at local higher education institutions.

This Guideline emphasized an ecological framework to conceptualize the cocreation of inclusive environment at higher education institutions, and systematized the recommended inclusive practices based on the stages of tertiary education from students' perspectives. The Guideline can serve as a common ground for the ongoing discussion and cocreation of inclusive campus.
